Unable to find both defaulted and configured devices after updates.

When I was first turned on to this utility I tested it on our lab bench and was able to find any defaulted device I connected to and scanned. Since I have updated the software I can no longer scan and see any devices both configured and defaulted. This applies to both a Windows laptop and Android phone.
